2001 Saturn L200 P0440 Code - I get a reccurring P0440 DTC code. The gas cap is good, what else should I check on my Saturn L200?
Question: HI I HAVE A 98 SATURN SW1 AND HAVE A PO341 CODE, SINCE IT DOES NOT HAVE A CAME SENSOR I PUT IN A NEW ING MOD. NO CHANGE. HAVE CHECKED THE WIRES AND PINS AT THE MOD, EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE THE LIGHT WILL NOT COME ON AND THEN THE NEXT TIME I START THE CAR IT WILL COME ONE. THANK YOU JOHN, October 2008
Answer: Hi John. A P0341 code is Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance. I found two good resources for that code, so instead of reinventing the wheel I'm giving you the links. Happy reading - [P0341 @ OBD-Codes.com] and [P0341 @ SaturnFans.com].
Question: I have a 1996 Saturn SL1 SOHC and I am getting a engine code and I cannot figure it out. I have checked all connections and still not able for find anything. The code is P0405 EGR Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Detected. I just rebuilt the motor and cleaned everything out in the process. It has about 1050 miles on the rebuilt motor. What could be my problem? Possibly the canister purge solenoid? I have already replaced my map sensor. I don't know what else to do. Thanks, Chris , September 2008
Answer: Hi Chris. You should locate the EGR sensor and verify all wiring & connectors leading to it. Likely there's a problem with the wiring/connectors or the sensor has failed. First double-check the wiring (don't forget the connectors) and then check if the sensor is operating properly. You may need access to a repair manual for the proper specification of the EGR sensor. If you still need help, search on this site for P0405 (use the box at the top right corner of each page). Good luck!
